Peer Models

The Baseball For Life (BFL) “Peer Model” will serve as a liason between the younger athletes and the BFL group coach. It is the job of the peer model to set a positive example for their group’s athletes during baseball and non-baseball focused activities. BFL’s goal is to build relationships that allow participants and peer models to develop skills, helping athletes prepare for successful futures on and off the field. BFL hopes to foster in peer models the values of leadership, volunteerism, and community, with hopes of setting these young men up for success in the next chapter of their lives, after high school graduation.
